Little Food Pantry

The Missions Committee would like you to participate stocking the little food pantry. Canned and boxed liquids can freeze or explode in extreme cold. Because we are entering a season of colder temperatures, we ask that items in glass jars or cans with pull tabs not be put in the pantry if the temperatures dip below freezing. But there are several items listed below that will be safe to put in the pantry this winter. You will notice that some are not food items, but having these items may free the recipients from using their food money for these things.

Suggested items for the little food pantry:

    • Boxed or bagged grains or beans
    • Tuna pouches
    • Hot cereals (like Quaker instant packets
    • Cold cereals
    • Dried Fruits
    • Beef jerky
    • Nuts
    • Milk boxes
    • Crackers
    • Rice cakes
    • Pretzels
    • Granola bars
    • Dry soup mixes
    • Peanut butter & jelly in plastic baggy
    • Paper products – kleenex, paper towels, toliet paper
    • Hygiene items – bar soap, toothpaste, chapstick
    • Hats, gloves or scarves (clean, new or gently used)

Thank you for your ongoing generosity! We are truly a welcoming family of faith!
