Ingathering Dignity Kits

October 8 - October 27

  The Missions Committee would like you to participate in the annual Ingathering. As we have been doing for several years, we would like you to purchase items for “Dignity Kits”. These kits are distributed around the world and the corner to all those in need during a crisis. As stated in a brochure about the Missions Ingathering: “The purpose of Mission Ingathering is to show the love of Christ to the world’s people by ministering to their needs.”

 

All kit items MUST be NEW. Kits should contain ONLY the requested items in the requested size. If you would rather just write a check for supplies, please write a check to First United Methodist Church and write “Ingathering” in the memo line. Please return all kits and have monetary donations to the church no later than October 27, 2023.

Items needed for the Dignity Kits:     

    • 1 Hand Towel – No kitchen towels
    • 1 Washcloth – No dishcloths
    • 1 Adult Toothbrush – No multipacks
    • 1 Bar Soap – 3-4 oz.
    • 1 Shampoo – 12.5-19 oz (seal with packing tape if possible)
    • 1 Deodorant – 2-3 oz – stick, roll-on or pump
    • 1 One gallon Resealable Plastic Bag
    • $4 donation (cash) for razor, toothpaste & shipping

All kit items MUST be NEW and contain ONLY the requested items in the appropriate size listed.
